The Main Tile

To find your main tile hold down your windows key and press h - the main tile will flash briefly.

The Main Tile's Purpose
The main tile is the portal for configuring your Hoverdesk options. It is "usually" found at the top of a Hoverdesk "Dock".

Double Clicking on it will Open/Close the dock
Left Clicking and dragging on it will move the Dock vertically
SHIFT + Left Clicking and dragging will enable to move the Dock all over the Desktop
Right Clicking on it will display the HoverDesk Settings pop-up menu.
Double Right-Click (or Shift + Right-Click) on it will show options for the main tile itself.

You can create new tiles by dragging .exe's, files, shortcuts, folders, or URLs from Explorer windows to the main tile.

Changing the Main Tile's Texture

Let's change it to something a little more eye-catching.
The main tile is easy to change.
Open windows Explorer and browse to the Pixel Perfect theme folder so you can see all the files inside it.
Look for the file called main.bmp , (not mainH.gif) drag it onto the main tile (which was just flashing a minute ago)

Now you just know it's supposed to look better than this
so let's configure it.

Either double right click the main tile or hold shift and right click it, select properties.

We've already gone through most of the settings so I'll be quick as we go through this.

Make the caption read 'HoverDesk' (this will be our tooltip when we hover over it)
Untick show label
Untick border
Check adjust to texture size
Delete the icon path

Click Apply Changes to see how it's changed
Now we're going to add out first hover image.

Applying a hover image to the Main Tile

In the Texture/Icon box click the browse button for the Hover path.
You should immediately be in the Pixel Perfect theme folder (if not you'll be in the Themes folder, just open the Pixel Perfect folder)
Look for a file called mainH.gif (you may have to click the arrow in the Files of type box to select GIF files) Found it? Great!! double click it.
Now click OK in the Tile Properties window.
Just to test it's working, move your mouse over the main tile. If all has gone well you should be seeing an image like below

Shift+drag the main tile to the top left corner of the dt.
